The primary season is almost over, and GOP members of the House and Senate are now free to vote with their conscience instead of being afraid to be primaried out by Trump’s MAGA crazies. This was evident, yesterday, when 18 House Republicans stood up to Trump and voted to provide more funding and weaponry to Ukraine, and in the same vote, voted to increase stiffer sanctions on Russia

There was a time, ironically, led by MTG, where there was a push to stop any further assistance to Ukraine. That time apparently is over. It is ironic that Putin is facing the same problems at home, with regard to Ukraine, that Trump is with regard to Iran.

The bill is now going to be sent to the Senate where a number of Senate Republicans are also voicing their support for Ukraine. The question is now whether there’ll be enough republican votes to approve the bill. Then most likely it would have to go to Donald Trump to sign the bill. Trump is pretty angry at Republicans in the House and Senate for standing up to him. So it’s quite possible that Trump might not sign the bill off, being a snowflake that he is
