Stagecoach Turns Pumpkin

Midnight came and Cinderella‘s stagecoach has turned back into a pumpkin. But we are still all here and most likely united more than ever before.

The details kept getting worse all week. No relief on softwood lumber. Aluminum and steel tariffs would still be at 25%. Auto tariffs still at 15%.

Trump saying that a deal was in place on Tuesday. JD Vance, laughing at Canada, particularly at Pierre Poilievree, calling him a non-entity. You did get that one right JD. How has your couch been doing lately? No, never mind.

Then there was talk about how the results of these negotiations would affect the results of the CUSMA negotiations. And after all this, the US still wanted their booze back on our shelves

Mark Carney had no choice. Basically he said screw this and he sent his negotiating team back home.

No one knows, right now, how this is gonna end. But, everything Donald Trump has touched of late has turned into crap. Just look at Iran. Canada will stick this out. It will be tough, but you don’t mess around with an angry Canada goose, you just don’t.

That’s all I have.
