While people in Canada and the US are, for the most part, enjoying the Labour Day weekend, Donald Trump is doing what he is known for, rage posting on his true social. He is now upset with the exchange rate between Canada and the US.

“Canada’s (currency) Dollar imbalance with the U.S. is unacceptable.”

“It has been that way for years – but no longer!”

I don’t think Donald took any economics courses in university. If he did, he didn’t get good grades. How the heck is he going to influence exchange rates between our two countries?

Donald is also upset that the Fed, in the US is not lowering interest rates. He is saying that if they do not lower interest rates, he is going to stop trading with countries with which the US has export import deficits. He has talked about the $60 billion deficit that the US has with Canada. I don’t know where he got that number from, but let’s go with it. The US has nine times the population in Canada does. Of course the US is going to export a whole lot less to Canada than Canada is exporting to the US. It’s a numbers game, Donald, you moron. No he definitely did not do well. Any economics in university or high school for that matter. Furthermore Don, if you stop trading with all these countries, you’re gonna have no one left to trade with, except maybe China

Donald Trump is a gift that keeps on giving to Mark Carney. Latest pulling shows that 85% of Canadians support Canada walking out on the trade negotiations. In addition, 80% of Canadians support the counter tariffs that will take affect tomorrow.

Meanwhile, in the US, Americans are upset with Trump for starting this tariff war with Canada. Trump will freak out this week after the counter tariffs take effect. He is a bully being told no, and he does not like it. Too freaking bad, Donald. It sucks to be you.
