The Republicans are crying foul over allegations that the Democrat senatorial candidate in Alaska, Mary Peltola, was involved in a scheme to add a senatorial candidate with the same name as Republican incumbent Dan Sullivan into the election race. Republicans say that this was an intentional act in order to confuse voters in Alaska. Alaska Republicans even went to the Alaska Supreme Court to have the second. Dan Sullivan removed from the ballot. The Supreme Court said no.

Was Mary Peltola involved in the scheme?. Evidence seems to indicate that she was. Is this a dirty trick? No doubt about it. Is it illegal? Nope. The only negative thing about this is that she seems to be caught.

The image above is of Roger Stone, a long time republican operative. He is known as the king of dirty tricks. He was caught on tape before the 2020 election saying that even if Trump lost to say that the election was rigged, immediately. This is one example of the dirty tricks that Roger Stone has played.

If you want to talk about dirty tricks, just look at Donald Trump saying that the 2020 election was stolen. The Trump team went to the courts 60 times after the 2020 election claiming fraud. All 60 judges, many of them Trump appointees, denied the claim. Even now, during the current midterm race, Trump is already claiming fraud. He’s already denigrating the legitimacy of the election process. So he is involved himself in the dirty tricks.

So Republicans, stop being hypocrites.
