I Don’t Know Them

Attribution to Modern-Day Debate

This is Nick Fuentes. He has been identified by the Department of Justice (DOJ) as a white supremacist. He has anti sematic views. He is a holocaust denier. He has threatened violence and Jewish groups and has spread hate amongst Jewish groups, Black Americans and other groups. He participated in the Charlottesville rally, in 2017, where Neo-Nazis were chanting “Jews swill not replace us”. He also had dinner with Donald Trump last week at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump has received major backlash for that dinner. It is reported that he was very impressed with Fuentes. However, he is backtracking bigtime since this story came out. He has recived major criticism from Republicans, including notable Trumpkins. An example of this criticism is noted super conservative and Trumpkin, Ben Shapiro who stated the following,

“A good way not to accidentally dine with a vile racist and anti-Semite you don’t know is not to dine with a vile racist and anti-Semite you do know,”

Trump’s response to all this criticism?

“Kanye West very much wanted to visit Mar-a-Lago. Our dinner meeting was intended to be Kanye and me only, but he arrived with a guest (Fuentes) whom I had never met and knew nothing about.”

Before going on, one little tidbit. During the dinner “Ye” asked Trump to be his vice presidential candidate for 2024. Donnie did not react too well to that

A couple of things on Trump’s response. Trump has security at Mar-a-Lago. He could have detained the guests at the door, while his staff checked who these guests were. We don’t know if this happen and Donnie let them in anyways, or, whether their was a security lapse. (These classified documents are not really classified but if they are Mar-a-Lago is super secure. Anyways Bush had classified documents at a Chine restaurant, in Dallas)

The second thing is that Donnie has used that the “I don’t know this person” routine before. He claimed to not know KKK leader David Duke. He did. He claimed to know he did not know what QAnon was, but he knew that QAnon supported him. He claimed to not know who the Proud Boys were when he told them to “Stand back and stand by”> They did stand back until January 6.

Trump has gotten away with these routines before with little damage. However, it mighjt be catching up to him. The presidential election is two years away. Republicans are asking themselves whether the Party needs this Trump headline grabbing chaos for the next two campaign years. More and more are saying, please God, no
