Precious

This is just too precious. There is a Grand Jury in New York relating to the hush money payments made to Stormy Daniels, covering Donald Trump’s ‘liaison’ with her. Actually, it is more than just the Stormy Daniels ‘affair’. One of the people testifying is David Pecker former publisher of the National Enquirer. Pecker was involved in the scheme to cover up Trump’s long-term affair with former Playboy model Karen McDougal. That affair happened just after Melania Trump had given birth to Baron.

With the whole Stormy thing, people have already gone to prison for the entire mess. Michael Cohen, former personal was imprisoned for a time for his role in the coverup. Michael Avenatti was sentenced to four years for defrauding Daniels during his role as her lawyer.

Trump has been denying for years that he had an affair with Daniels. He has been raging about it on his Truth Social media outlet. But yesterday he admitted to the whole thing with the following tweet.

With respect to the “Stormy” nonsense, it is VERY OLD & happened a long time ago, long past the very publicly known & accepted deadline of the Statute of Limitations. I placed full Reliance on the JUDGEMENT & ADVICE OF COUNCIL, who I had every reason to believe had a license to practice law, was competent, & was able to appropriately provide solid legal services. He came from a good law firm, represented other clients over the years, & there was NO reason not to rely on him, and I did.”

It is well known that Trump does not partake alcohol. But sometimes you have to wonder. Daniels’ response tweet to this is priceless.

“Thanks for just admitting that I was telling the truth about EVERYTHING. Guess I’ll take my ‘horse face’ back to bed now, Mr former ‘president’. Btw, that’s the correct way to use quotation marks,”

She closed the tweet with a kiss.

Trump is pinning his hopes on the fact that the Statute of Limitations has run out, leaving him scot-free. But it is argued that the payments are evidence of an on-going crime. Also the time clock was put on hold while Trump was out of state, in his role as President.

Trump faces up to four years in prison, should he be tried and found guilty. The Twitterverse has gone wild on this. Some of the comments are precious. One comment addresses the women who have ‘kicked his ass’ over the last few months. One comment points to Daniels being the only qualified person that Trump has hired, referring to his cabinet picks. There are others that I would love to point out, but you need to see them, yourselves.

A number of people are frustrated by the fact that his Presidency is two years gone and he is still walking around free. But, it seems like it will all come apart, for Trump, at the same time. Just need to be patient a while longer.
