Another ‘bombshell’ announcement on Trump yesterday. This time it is Manhattan prosecutors inviting Trump to go before a Grand Jury to testify about his role in the Stormy Daniels ‘hush money scheme. Pundits are saying that this is evidence that Trump will be indicted soon on this matter.

I did not watch Fox propaganda so I do not know if they even covered this. I do know that MSNBC were salivating over the announcement, providing near wall to wall coverage and analysis on the announcement.

Go to the twitterverse though and you see a lot of cynicism. Trump has a number of investigations on him including the Georgia ‘perfect call’ case and Special Prosecutor Jack Smith nipping at his heels on events relating to the January 6 insurrection. There are other court proceedings too relating to Trump. The thing is he has not been indicted on anything yet. There is an attitude now of “I will believe it when I see it’. Trump has been slippery like a slimy snake. It helps that he is a slimy snake but that is besides the point.
