This is what I would call a ‘mail it in’ chirp. The walls are collapsing on Trump. There was a hearing yesterday in which Trump, by video, with the American flag behind him, was informed that the ‘hush money’ trial would begin on March 25, right during primary season. Trump was not pleased about that. He was also told what he could and could not say about the case. After that proceeding ws over, Trump, of course, went on a Truth Social rant, complaining about both the trial date and his so-called violation of his First Amendment right.

Then things got a whole lot worse. News reports started circulating that Jack Smith was about to wrap-up the Mar-a-Lago documents phase of his investigation. This would mean that indictments will be coming up soon. Trump must have gone off the rails over this development. A letter was sent by Trump’s lawyers, last night to Attorney General Merrick Garland, requesting a meeting. The letter had to have been dictated, verbatim, by Trump, himself. You can decide for yourself.

“We represent Donald J. Trump, the 45′ President of the United States, in the investigation currently being conducted by the Special Counsel’s Office. Unlike President Biden, his son Hunter, and the Biden family, President Trump is being treated unfairly. No President of the United States has ever, in the history of our country, been baselessly investigated in such an outrageous and unlawful fashion. We request a meeting at your earliest convenience to discuss the ongoing injustice that is being perpetrated by your Special Counsel and his prosecutors.”

Really, Donny? I have a grandson in Kindergarten who probably could write a more coherent and thought out letter than this piece of garbage. All I got.
