Trump Gag Order

Sourced from CNN website – Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

Trump is starting to realize what it is like to be treated like everybody else and he hates it. Trump has been limited to what he can say about Jack Smith and his staff, potential witnesses, and, court staff. It is not a total gag order. He still can attack DOJ and Washington. Two quotes from Judge Chutkan pretty well tells Trump that he is like everybody else.

“Mr. Trump is a criminal defendant. He is facing four felony charges. He is under the supervision of the criminal justice system and he must follow his conditions of release.”

“When you start to use a word like ‘thug’ to describe a prosecutor doing their job, that wouldn’t be allowed by any other criminal defendant. Just because the defendant is running a political campaign does not allow him to do whatever he wants.”

Judge Chutkan’s reasoning for the gag order was, as follows,

“This is not about whether I like the language Mr. Trump uses. This is about language that presents a danger to the administration of justice.”

Chutkan has merit in saying so, given the number of people who now require security measures, after Trump has attacked them.

Trump’s response on his failing Truth Social?

“WILL APPEAL THE GAG ORDER RULING. WITCH HUNT!”

All Caps. Typical.

Trump at a campaign stop, last night, said he will ignore the gag order and he is willing to go to jail over it. Chris Christie, on a CNN interview, scoffed at Trump’s comments. Christie said that Trump would never willingly go to jail, given that Trump is a coward., The circus continues.
