Last week Donald Trump said he was going to testify today at the Trump Org. fraud trial in New York. He was scheduled to be the last witness for the defense. Alina Habba, Trump’s lawyer stated last week that even though his team recommended he not testify, that Trump,

“is not afraid…President Trump does not cower,”

So, of course, Trump announces yesterday that he will not be testifying. Can anyone really be surprised. If he were to testify he would go through a brutal cross examination, something that he could not endure. He has a history of avoiding testimony. When he was originally deposed on the case he pleaded the fifth amendment over 400 times. He did answer questions in his deposition on his sexual abuse case relating to E Jean Carroll and lost big time. He did sue Michael Cohen. But, when he found out that he would be deposed he dropped the lawsuit. Remember Robert Mueller? Trump said that he would gladly testify. He ended up providing written responses with most of his answers being that he did not remember

Trump is a coward, plain and simple.
