There is a lot going on today. The fourth day of jury selection at the hush money trial with Trump already whining about the need to lift the gag order. He really feels he should be treated above everybody else and he does not care who could get hurt or killed in the process

There is also Mike Johnson doing his version of country first by putting together motions that would, finally, result in funding for Ukraine, much to the anger of the MAGA right, including MTG. Good for you Mikey

But the bigger news today was that Israel launched strikes on Iran. Iran had promised that if Israel did such a thing, Iran would respond with maximum force.

This leads to the biggest news, that being the response to the attack. Israel said that as far as they were concerned, this tit for tat was over. Iran’s response was ‘meh, no biggie’. Iran is saying that no damage occurred and any explosions seen were caused by Iran launching anti-missile defended.

Both sides appear to realize they were at the brink and pulled back. Relief.
