last week we had Stormy Daniels’ testimony and cross examination, and that produced sparks. but that we would likely pale in comparison to Michael Cohen taking the stand this week. Both his testimony and the subsequent cross examination. It could be a whole week event given that court will not be in session for two days. Those days being Wednesday and Friday The judge had given Friday off given that Trump claimed that he wanted to be at his son’s high school graduation in Florida. That will be tricky given that he has a fundraiser in Minnesota the same day. It will be interesting to see if the judge follows up on that with Trump.

Regarding Cohen, witness testimony so far has put him in a pretty ugly light. Key to his testimony and subsequent cross examination will be his demeanor. Perception will be key here with regard to the jury. If he comes across as being honest and accepting of the fact that he was a bully while with Trump, it should go well for the prosecution. however, if he takes a defensive mode, he most likely will come across as being dishonest. Daniels in her second day of cross examination met the lawyer head on and did not back down. she did not exhibit any defensiveness that she did in the first day.

Regardless, sparks will fly. Hopefully, Cohen will be prepared enough to handle the vicious cross examination that will come his way.
