The Haitian Bridge Alliance, a nonprofit group has used a private citizen right to file charges against both Donald Trump and JD Vance, relating to the lies they have spread and continue to spread in Springfield. The lawyer representing the group made the following statements.

“Their persistence and relentlessness, even in the face of the governor and the mayor saying this is false, that shows intent. It’s knowing, willful flouting of criminal law.”

“If it were anyone else other than Trump and Vance who had done what they’ve done — wreak havoc on Springfield, resulting in bomb threats, evacuated and closed government buildings and schools, threats to the mayor and his family — they would have been arrested by now. They are not above the law.”

As per that last line, they are not above the law. Haitians in that community are living in fear. Over above the above statement, death threats have been made.

Will this get any traction? It should. Will the media give it any major attention? sadly, probably not.
