It is now a couple of days after the election. Looking at the comments on Twitter, it seems that everyone who wanted Harris to win is still going through a deep depression. Nobody is watching Cable News for now and probably won’t for a long while. We all know there’s a runway train running down the tracks and there’s nothing we can do to stop it.

Maybe we should all turn into conspiracy theorists. It is beneath our dignity, but apparently it works given that Trump is back in the White House. We all know deep in our hearts that we will turn back to cable news eventually. We will start watching it again, once the circus begins. We will be able to say we told you so. Hollow victory as it may be.

For today, I guess I’ll just go out on the deck, in my shorts, and enjoy the sunshine. it is going up to 60 Fahrenheit today, in my neck of the woods, where the average high for today would be 35. It has been above average warm, September, October, and November. It’s been warm all across Canada actually for the last while. I guess we better get used to it since Trump is going to pull out of the climate accord again.
