Back in August 1939, Germany and Russia secretly signed a non-aggression pact. A few days later, on the morning of September 1, Adolf Hitler went on German radio and claimed that Poland had attacked Germany. Germany subsequently invaded Poland and World War II began. Six years and 80 million lives later the war ended. Imagine if you can, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, back in 1939, stating that Poland did indeed attack Germany, and that the German invasion was justified

Here we are, 86 years later. Russia and the US, by way of Putin and Trump, have near identical agendas. Putin has claimed that Ukraine provoked the invasion. And now Donald Trump in his most blatant lie yet is claiming that Ukraine started the war. That is what happened yesterday. Trump further went onto state the need for elections in Ukraine to replace Zelensky

This is stomach churning and it is actually happening. Meanwhile, Europe is in disarray as to how to address this. Brian has offered to put troops in place in a peacekeeping role in Ukraine. Other countries are not that supportive of this. Russia is strongly approached to any peacekeeping troops in Ukraine. I wonder why.

This is like watching a train wreck occur in slow motion and not being able to do anything about it.
