Four months ago, Pierre Poilievre, (PP) was looking at a strong majority. Now, the morning after, as I do this chirp, the liberals are four seats away from a majority. They still have a slim chance of getting that majority depending on the last few votes. Meanwhile, PP has lost his own riding, joining Jagmeet Singh, in doing so.

Singh has resigned as leader of the NDP. Will PP do the same. His concession speech indicates that he will stay on. But he will have to find a seat.

Liberals are thanking Donald Trump for his involvement, in this campaign. If Trump had not aggressively attacked Canada with his tariffs, and with his talk of annexation, PP could very well have won this election. The one great thing that separates us from the United States is that no leader will claim that the selection was stolen. They will be some conspiracy theories issued by the lunatic far right fringe. But that is a no matter. We have much fewer lunatic for right fringe than the US does. What is even scarier? Is that this fringe has slipped into the mainstream.
