I’m pretty confident he won’t be a signatory to the final summit statement this time around either. Dark clouds are forming over Trump even before the start of the summit. French president Macron, stopped off in Greenland, on his way to the summit, to provide support for Greenland sovereignty, and to reiterate that Greenland is not for sale. Meanwhile, Mark Carney, met with The, British Prime Minister,in Ottawa, on Sunday, to strengthen ties between the two countries in order to diminish similar ties with the US.

Topics to be discussed at the G7, include tariffs, where Trump is not really that popular right now, sovereignty, another sore spot, the Iran-Israeli conflict and Russian invasion of Ukraine. The last topic, right now, has six of the 7 leaders, on one and the Putin supporting Trump on the other side.

I wonder what kind of odds Vegas is offering as to whether Trump will stay the entire two days of the Summit.
