All In One Day

It is incredible, all the events that happened in just one day. Waking up in the morning to discover that there was a political assassination in Minnesota. State congresswoman Melissa Hortman, along with her husband shot dead. State senator Hoffman along with his wife shot down, but expected to survive. This is a couple days after Donald Trump called Governor Walz of Minnesota a disaster. The gunman is still on the loose. A freaking political assassination.

Donald Trump‘s hope for a Nobel peace prize, for getting an agreement with Iran, is literally shot down in flames. The flames of burning cities in Israel and Iran. The third straight day of aerial attacks on both countries. Cooler heads are not prevailing. The attacks are increasing. Israel is obviously in it to win. They have weakened Iran’s proxies, those being Hamas and Hezbollah, now they going after the head itself, that being Iran. Israel has stated that this will be a weeks long offensive. This is as serious as it can get for the Middle East and for the world. Oil prices are already skyrocketing. Putin and Trump will be on the phone trying to calm this down. This is the one time where I hope Trump is successful.

Trump had his parade yesterday. About 20,000 people lined the streets to watch it. Meanwhile, millions of no king protesters rallied across America.

Finally, Mark Carney is preparing for the G7 meetings in Alberta. It will be considered a successful get together if the whole thing doesn’t blow apart. Expectations are low.

That is all I have for today.

Don’t even talk to me about the Edmonton Oilers.
