Just a short chirp today. Tomorrow is the day Putin and Trump meet in Alaska. The image above is from 2018 when Trump said, he trusted Putin more than he trusted his own intelligence agencies.

Hopefully , Trump will listen to his intelligence experts more, for tomorrow. The frightening thing is that his experts, given that they are all Trump loyalists, might be telling him what he wants to hear instead of what is reality.

European leaders, as well as, Zelensky, have been bending Trump’s ear in the past couple days in preparation for tomorrow’s meeting.

One US official is saying that Trump might finally be seeing the light,

“His approach in early January was naïve … Now Europeans say he finally gets it that Putin is a murderous leader.”

So, no one really knows what is going to happen tomorrow. Even after the summit is over, I would not be surprised if there’s conflicting messages from both camps both saying they got what they wanted.
