So, the other day, i’m scrolling through social media and I see this post about Trump being upset that the Smithsonian has so many exhibits on slavery and how he wants to remove them. I’m thinking to myself this must be a parody, some kind of joke. Then I find out it’s not.

“The Smithsonian is OUT OF CONTROL, where everything discussed is how horrible our Country is, how bad Slavery was, and how unaccomplished the downtrodden have been — Nothing about Success, nothing about Brightness, nothing about the Future,”

OK. First of all his last four words about nothing about the future. It is a museum. Museums deal with the past. Second of all the exhibits show how bad slavery was. Donald, slavery was very bad, terrible bad, unbelievably bad. Under the constitution, slaves were considered 3/5 of a person. How much worse could it be Donald? Slaves had no freedom. Parents were separated from their kids. Though I guess you would know something about that with the immigration issues, where you separated, parents from kids.

You know what else was bad Donald? The Holocaust. But museums in Germany have exhibits just to remind people of how bad it was and to ensure that it never happens again.

Just when I thought you could not surprise me anymore, you prove me wrong Donald.
