Conservatives, especially conservative Catholics, and most especially conservative Catholics, who support Trump, were quite happy with Pope Leo. Although an unknown quality, he appeared to be far more conservative than that dastardly liberal Pope Francis.

Well, that came to an end this week. Pope Leo came out with the following statement.

“Someone who says I’m against abortion but is in favour of the death penalty is not really pro-life. Someone who says I’m against abortion but I’m in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants in the United States, I don’t know if that’s pro-life.”

BOOM!

But Pope Leo was not done by a long shot. He recently was at a climate change conference, where he blessed a block of ice that was from a melting glacier in Greenland . He stated that,

“We can not love God, who we cannot see, while despising his creatures.”

Conservatives are having a meltdown, actually a MAGA meltdown. One Trump supporter, put it this way.

“Should have known the Catholic Church would put in another woke Pope.”

Sorry to put it this way, Trumpsupporters, but if you read the New Testament without your blinders on, you will realize that Jesus was woke. In fact, Jesus was as woke as they come. Furthermore to you conservative Catholics, if you believe in the holy Trinity, and if you believe that they are all one, then God is woke. Not your God, Donald Trump, but the actual God. This world and America would be a whole lot better shape if conservatives accepted this fact.
