Donald, everything you touch turns to yuck. The last couple of weeks the reflecting pool, your great American state fair, the housing initiative that you refuse to sign and now Iran again.

But there was one nice story that was going. That was the whole World Cup thing and the US team doing their Cinderella thing. They got out of the first round, first in the group. Then they beat Bosnia Hertzegovina in the knockout round of 32. This was the first time the men’s team had ever gone this far in World Cup play. The World Cup cup itself was a feel good story. The Scots had drained Boston of Sam Adams beer. The English had discovered ranch dressing. Fans from all over the world were saying that America was not that bad a place to visit

The men’s team were playing Belgium next. Belgium would be their toughest opponent yet. If the US men’s team lost well, they gave it a good go. That is how the US men’s team would be remembered. But if they won, wow lookout world.

Donald, you could not leave well enough alone could you? No, you had to interfere. A player red carded, and you got the red card rescinded and you reminded the world of how corrupt FIFA and yourself can be.

So the player played in the Belgium game. He played as if he didn’t wanna be there. The whole team played as if they did not want to be there. There was a brief moment where the US tied Belgium at one goal apiece. But then Belgium completely took over and the US lost four goals to one.

Donald, after you interfered, there were a number of American fans who felt uncomfortable cheering for team, USA. Most of the world were cheering for Belgium. If you had not interfered, most of the world would’ve been cheering for the Cinderella underdog, that being team USA. You ruined that Donald. When team USA lost by four goals to one they were laughed at and the feeling was they deserved what they got all because of you Donald.

I hope you’re happy with yourself. But you don’t really care do you? Typical.
