Donald, your diversion play will not work. You banned CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House grounds on Friday. I can understand that, in a way. Things are going so bad for you elsewhere that you wanted people to talk about a new issue. So you thought this would be the issue.

Donald, right now, 2/3 of your country, including a bunch of Republicans think you’re screwing up the war with Iran. Your approval rating is flirting at the 30% mark. You got tired of all this news in the media so you struck back at the media, in order to create a new issue to talk about. By the way, we haven’t forgotten about the Epstein files yet.

But it backfired on you, Donald, bigly. What happened was a beautiful thing never seen before ever. Then you proceeded to make it worse. The media has this thing where when they are following you they have one pool camera for all the networks. It was CNN’s turn on Monday, yesterday. You banned CNN from providing pool camera coverage. You figured one of the other networks would take their place. But in media solidarity, no one else did. You had events all day, but there was no live video coverage of it. Your voice was silenced.

Furthermore, Fox news is joining in solidarity with CNN and all the other networks. This was the joint statement put out by the major networks yesterday, including Fox

“The public has a vital interest in receiving accurate, independent information about its government. No administration should restrict a news organization because it objects to its reporting.”

Fox knows that if you are allowed to carry this through that they could go through the same thing when the president is a democrat. Can you imagine how Fox News would’ve reacted if Barack Obama had pulled the stunt on Fox?

This whole thing is going to court tomorrow. You are going to lose this one just like you lost when you tried to ban Jim Acosta, and when you tried to ban AP news when they refused to call the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America.

You’ve also turned Kaitlyn Collins into a folk hero. Women reporters are not gonna take your crap anymore Donald. Actually the way the polls are showing nobody is taking your crap anymore.
