Trump Not Happy

There are so many things happening today Israel is gearing up to invade Gaza City, which will be bloody. The Congress clown show continues with no certainty as to who the Speaker will be, amidst rumours that Kevin McCarthy might throw his hat in the ring. Kevin, the poster boy for masochism. However, today’s chirp will be on Robert F. Kennedy Jr. This will be the only chirp about him because he is not worth more than one day.

In all honesty I have not followed him that much His views are so far out there. He is sceptical of COVID, he is anti-vaccine. He does not support US aid for Ukraine. He is the king of misinformation. He can make a QAnon supporter sound sane.

Kennedy decided earlier this year to put his hat in the ring as a Presidential candidate for the Democrats. Donald Trump reacted gleefully, at the time,

“He’s a very smart person. I know a lot of the members of that family, and he’s a very smart guy. And he’s hit a little bit of a nerve. And a lot of Democrats I know want to vote for him.”

Of course, Fox Entertainment loved Kennedy, as well, becoming their media darling. However, Kennedy, much to the chagrin of Trump and Fox, never caught on with Democrat voters. So, yesterday, Kennedy announced that he will as third-party candidate. Team Trump who was so supportive of Kennedy, when running as a Democrat, has changed its tune.

“Voters should not be deceived by anyone who pretends to have conservative values. The fact is that RFK has a disturbing background steeped in radical, liberal positions. A RFK candidacy is nothing more than a vanity project for a liberal Kennedy looking to cash in on his family’s name.”

Funny how that happens. A Trump advisor had the following to say about the effect on potential Trump voters with Kennedy’s declaration to run as a third party candidate.

“If you’re a single-issue voter on Ukraine, you now have two options instead of one. His views on vaccines are also a big pull to those kind of voters. Those are people that like are less likely to tell pollsters that they’re for Trump. They’re less likely to answer the phone for pollsters.”

I hope Kennedy runs and I hope that he has the same effect on Trump as Ralph Nader did on Gore. That’s all I got to say about this guy.
