Donald Trump is declaring economic war on Canada. It is anticipated, that during his inauguration speech on Monday, he will make mention of his intentions to levy harsh tariffs on Canada.

Canada’s liberal lead federal government is set to announce a basket of retaliatory tariffs immediately after Trump inauguration. The level of tariffs will vary, in that it will be based on the level of tariffs Trump will proceed with.

The first ministers met earlier this week and are all on board as to how to proceed with the exception of course of Danielle Smith. So what does PP have to say about the stand that Smith is taking? He’s not saying anything. He has been asked numerous times as to what he thinks about the situation. He has said nothing about it. He keeps avoiding the question. Why Pierre? This is not the time to be wishy-washy. Canada needs to know where you stand on this, especially if you want to be the next leader of the country. This is not a time for politics. Make your position clear and do it now. Either you are on board with team Canada or on board with Danielle Smith.
