Don’t Dare

Here is the thing, America. Whenever I, and many of my fellow Canadians, go out of the country, to places such as the Caribbean or Europe we always wear Canadian T-shirts or Canadian hats. We always make it quite clear that we are Canadian. The reception we get is a lot friendlier because we identifies ourselves as Canadian.

We know many Americans do the same thing. Even though they are American, they identify themselves as Canadian. We Canadians are OK with this because we’re not that hung up on being of one characteristic and identifying ourselves as another.

But if Trump is successful (he won’t) in annexing Canada and turning us into a 51st state, we lose that advantage. We can no longer go to foreign countries and say we are Canadian because we’ll be part of US. That would be like I am Canadian inside, but Trump has forced me to identify myself as American on the outside. Don’t you dare do that to us Donald. To have the audacity to even try.

That’s all I got for today.
