BSers
Can’t quit him yet I guess. Maggie Haberman interviewed Trump in September 2021, asking Trump what he was doing while the attepted insurrection was occurring at the Capitol. Trump said that he was busy at meetings and that he did not have the tv on at all. In fact he said he hardly watches tv.…

How Do I Quit Him
Over the past year, I have been listening to a number of audiobooks including quite a few on the orange haired guy. I have had the pleasure (agony) of listening to two books in a row, one called “The Divider” and now in the middle of “Confidence Man” by Maggie Haberman. The first book covered…

Irony
Ron DeSantis recently made a big splash by sending, immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard. Briefly, DeSantis set aside $12 million in Florida’s budget to ship unauthorized migrants, in Florida, out of the state. However, in an obvious publicity stunt, the money was used to to round up Venezuelan asylum seekers, in San Antonio, Texas, to send…

Beware of Rat Cornered
There are a number of rats, in my opinion, who all must feel cornered right now. There is Trump, of course, there is the Iranian government, but, the most dangerous cornered rat, right now, is Putin. Putinn has had a number, and, to him, I am sure, unimaginable setbacks, in the last little while. The…

Try These
Bit of a different chirp today Weekends tend to be slower news days. No slight intended to the courage of the Iranian protesters, the bravery of Ukraine or to those suffering in Atlantic Canada because of Fiona. We all want the best for all of them. I have listened to a number of Trump related…

Donnie and Aileen’s Horrible Week
Aileen Cannon is a US District Judge for the Southern District of Florida. She made a ruling earlier this week on the Trump team’s request for a Special Master, claiming both executive priviledge and personal confidientality, on documents seized at Mar-a-Lago. The Trump team insisted that this included the 103 documents marked with classification ratings.…
